Pat is a lifelong hiker who savors the outdoors. She was recruited to the Land Trust board shortly after moving to Vinalhaven 10 years ago, and learned “on the job” the intricacies and subtleties of the work of preserving the land. Her life’s employment has been in one of the few remaining shoe factories in the country, having done all the middle management jobs including scheduling, purchasing, factory floor supervision and personnel management. Currently, Pat works largely from home as the computer systems manager for the same company. She also serves with the Vinalhaven ambulance crew.
